AWP Research Seminar

An introduction to the themes and projects being pursued by the recently-formed Artists' Writings & Publications Research Centre, paying particular attention to the relationship between contemporary art and libraries through a trio of case studies: An overview of the history and future plans for the PAGES research project and International Contemporary Artists' Book Fair by AWP co-founder Dr Chris Taylor, following its 20th edition in 2017. A critical account of the exhibition 'The House That Heals The Soul' (July-September 2017), which was developed in collaboration by AWP co-founder Nick Thurston and the CCA Glasgow; and a preview into The Tetley's 2018 programme focus on 'the library' from their Creative Director Bryony Bond.
